Tokyo's Prince Park Tower Hotel, opened in 2005, soars above Shiba Park near the Tokyo Tower and Zojo-ji Temple. The Park Hotel Tokyo is part of the Shidome Media Tower, and is located approximately 1 kilometer (0.6 miles) from the Ginza shopping district and the Tsukiji fish market. The Kyoto Hotel Okura is one of Kyoto's main Western-style hotels. It's location is about as central as you can get in Kyoto, and the hotel features a number of great restaurants and bars. The subway is downstairs.
