Begin your day with a meet-and-greet by one of the Zoo's senior expert guides. Join an informative introduction into Australia's unique animals and discover the elusive real-life Sydney Olympic 2000 mascot animals - the Platypus, Echidna, Kookaburra and Frilled Lizard in the Streets 'Creatures of the Wollemi'. You'll also meet other Australian native animals in the 'Australian Walkabout' exhibit. There's lots of excellent photo opportunities with koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, birds, wombats and echidnas so don't forget your camera!
At your leisure, board the Sky Safari's 21 six-passenger gondola, operating between the Zoo wharf and the Top Entrance. Fly above the Zoo as it skims the canopy of the Asian rainforest inhabited by Taronga's Orangutans and glide across the mysterious riverscape of AGL Amazonia, home to the Zoo's South American animals
The Backyard to Bush exhibit is an environmental wonderland where visitors will travel from the familiar world of the home and backyard complete with creepy crawlies and pets, through an adventure packed Australian farmyard, and into the wilderness of the bush, including a gigantic Wombat burrow.
Taronga Zoo's expansive Great Southern Oceans exhibit is now OPEN to the public and it provides an important and thrilling introduction to Australia's marine wildlife. The new 1.2 hectare exhibit features Australian Sea Lions, Australian Fur Seals, New Zealand Fur Seals, Californian Sea Lions, Leopard Seals, Penguins and Pelicans living in unique displays, emulating their natural habitats and offering spectacular viewing for visitors.

Taronga Zoo, located at Bradley's Head Road, Mosman, Sydney. The tour departs from Information Centre at the Main Entrance.
Getting to Taronga Zoo on Public Transport:
- Ferries - Depart from Wharf 2 - Circular Quay (Sydney Harbour), every half hour on the quarter hour
- Buses - Stop 247 departs from Wynyard Station (which is located in the Central Business District)
- Trains - There are no trains directly to Taronga Zoo however it is possible to catch a train to Circular Quay Railway Station located at Sydney Harbour and transfer to Taronga Zoo by ferry
Taronga Zoo Parking:
Available on site, a fee is applicable and is to be paid at the entrance gate or as you exit.
Opens daily from 9:00am to 5:00pm (including Chistmas Day). It is recommend to spend between 3 - 4 hours (or you could spend longer) at Taronga Zoo to enjoy all exhibits available. The price includes an all day pass to Taronga Zoo so you can enjoy the Zoo before or after the guided tour.
